Below is a list of the services that are offered directly out of the Aranui Community Trust Offices, through our Heartlands Service.
Aranui Community Trust
A community resource work for and with the community. Come into our offices for advice or to find our what services are in our community or what is going on. If you have an opinion or just want to talk to someone. Aranui Heartlands, The Aranui Neighbourhood Nurse and the Aranui Community Constable are all based at the Aranui Community Trust offices at 37 Hampshire street, Aranui.
Aranui Heartlands
Aranui Heartlands gives the people of Aranui the ability to access, government, local government and other social services in a community setting. Our Heartlands office is located at 37 Hampshire street and is open Monday – Friday 9.00am – 4.30pm, visit our Heartlands page for more information or Click here
Aranui Neighbourhood Nurse
The Aranui Community Trust offers a free accessible nursing service for your health needs, this includes a Neighbourhood Nurse a family support worker and a health van. the health van is available for other services and clinics to use.
The Aranui Neighbourhood Nurse offers the people of Aranui indivudalised primary health care when you need it. If you have a health concern or need, our Nurse will provide you with free friendly, impartial advise, she can visit your home or you can come and visit here office at 37 Hampshire street, the Aranui Community Trusts offices. After an initial visit she will refer you to the correct services for further care.
You may also see the health van around Aranui. The Aranui Neighbourhood Nurse takes our clinic ready van to the schools, kindy’s and pre-schools weekly. This van is also avaialble for other Health practitioners and clinics to use and book for localised assessment and access, please maximise this oppotunity, contact the Aranui Community Trust for more information.
Family Support Services
If our Nurse is unable to provide you with the advice and support you need regarding your physcial health, our Family Support Worker is able to provide you with support and advice for the rest of you and your families wellbeing. They will be able to direct you to appropiate service at our heartlands service or support you to other services if they are not found here.
Our health professionals have excellent relationships with the GP’s and other nurses and health practitioners in the area which enables us to link up the best possible services for you.
